For the entire month of February Quattro Vino has devoted its weekly, Saturday wine tasting to the beloved wine country of France.

For each Saturday from 2-5pm, we will open one of our 4, four-packs of France. We will not only be tasting the wines, but also discussing some of the frequently asked questions about buying, enjoying, and understanding French wines. Our goal is to eliminate the intimidation and confusion behind these wines, and to then be able to treat them as everyday wines and enjoy them from start-to-finish. After all, these are some of the best wines in the world...and it isn't just the French who think so. So come and 'Get Frenched' at Quattro Vino throughout the month of February!

The March tasting schedule will be as follows:
Saturday, February 3rd--Loire Valley
Saturday, February 10th--Burgundy
Saturday, February 17th--Rhone Valley
Saturday, February 24th--Bordeaux

Many people have been asking about French wines since we opened, and so far we have not featured one of our French packs on a Saturday afternoon. In February, that all changes. During the four Saturday's in February we will be tasting our French region packs, starting with Loire Valley and ending with Rhone Valley. For me, this is a great opportunity to share our great lineup of French wines and hopefully get people over the hump of familiarity. February in France should be a blast.

Today, Jan 1 2007, my resolution is to begin contributing to the Quattro Vino blog.

Just one year ago, Stefanie and I decided to take on this grand experiment of starting a new company. Fast forward a quick year of writing software, making about 1B decisions, and trying lots of wine. We've just completed our fourth month of sales and we're enthusiastic about the response to our new concept.

My resolution is to keep up with the activities of the company on this blog and to occasionally look back over our first year. We will continue to strive to fulfill our mission: wine shopping made easy (tm).
